  • About Me

In 2022, I completed a Graduate Diploma in Law with Northumbria University, where I stayed on through 2023 to complete the Legal Practice Course. After working as a paralegal in criminal and commercial law, in September 2024 I joined Watson Woodhouse as a Trainee Solicitor, starting my Training Contract with the firm with a view to qualifying as a solicitor in 2026.

I am currently specialising within the firm’s crime department. I am in the process of obtaining my Police Station Accreditation so I may advice and assist people who have been arrested and are due to be interviewed by the Police. I have also had the opportunity to go to Crown Court and enhance my understanding of criminal litigation. Before specialising in criminal defence, I trained within the Housing Disrepair department, which allowed me to gain extensive experience and development in civil litigation.

My experience throughout the training contract has provided me with invaluable skills that I look forward to applying upon qualification.
