Ellie Cornelius
In 2024, I graduated from Northumbria University with a Master of Laws (Exempting), incorporating the Legal Practice Course (LPC). In 2025, I joined Watson Woodhouse Solicitors as a Police Station Representative, where I obtained my Police Station Accreditation, enabling me to advise and represent clients during the early stages of criminal proceedings.
I am currently undertaking my Training Contract within the Crown Court Criminal Defence department at Watson Woodhouse Solicitors. During my Period of Recognised Training, I will have the opportunity to attend police station interviews and represent clients in both the Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court, further developing my practical experience and understanding of criminal procedure.
I am committed to ensuring that my clients’ best interests remain at the forefront of everything I do. I look forward to building upon the skills and knowledge gained throughout my Training Contract and applying these to my future practice as a qualified solicitor.
