Dina Rahmatalla
I acquired my LLB Law Degree from Durham University in 2024. Following this, I then obtained my Master’s Degree in Legal Practice incorporating the Legal Practice Course (LLM LPC) at Northumbria University in 2025.
While studying towards my LLM LPC, I worked as a Legal Administrator in the Dispute Resolution department for a firm in Teesside. In this role, I supported fee earners on commercial and property disputes, as well as debt recovery, insolvency, contentious probate and TOLATA matters. I also worked as a Legal Secretary at an immigration specialist firm, assisting with private immigration matters.
Throughout my academic journey, I gained valuable experience through various legal internships and work experience. In the summer of 2023, I completed an internship with HMCTS working as a Court Clerk and Usher in the Family and Civil Courts. I also completed an internship with an international family law firm, supporting cases involving international expat clients in England and Wales, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia in respect to cross-border private family matters.
Since commencing my Training Contract, I have completed a seat in the Private Family Department at our sister firm where I assisted on matters regarding divorce and separation, financial remedies, child arrangements and pre and post-nuptial agreements.
Following my time in Private Family, I joined the Crime and Crown Court Department at Watson Woodhouse where I assisted in criminal defence matters in the Crown Court. I am currently undertaking my Police Station Accreditation where I advise and assist clients who are due to be interviewed and throughout their interviews at the police station.
I have joined the Civil Litigation Department where I will be focusing on matters involving Personal Injury Claims, Inquests, Actions Against Public Authorities and Criminal Injury Claims.
