Watson Woodhouse and Macks Solicitors Welcome Our Largest Intake of Aspiring Solicitors

by Watson Woodhouse

Watson Woodhouse and Macks Solicitors are excited to announce our largest intake of Trainee and Apprentice Solicitors to date. This year, we proudly welcome seven Trainee Solicitors and three Apprentice Solicitors to our growing team, a significant increase from last year’s intake of three Trainees and four Apprentices. This expansion highlights our unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of legal professionals.

A Commitment to Excellence and Growth

Our decision to expand our intake underscores our dedication to fostering new talent and supporting the future of the legal profession. By bringing in more aspiring solicitors than ever before, we are not only investing in the future of our firm but also contributing to the broader legal community by preparing skilled and knowledgeable professionals who are ready to make a difference.

In 2022, we established a dedicated Talent Team at Watson Woodhouse and Macks Solicitors to drive our firm’s continued growth and development. This team is committed to sourcing, retaining, and investing in exceptional talent. They ensure that all our employees receive the support and resources needed to thrive in their roles and advance their careers within our organisation.

Investing in Our People

Among our ten new aspiring solicitors are two familiar faces, Olivia Dixon and Amelia Atkinson who have already been part of our Watson Woodhouse and Macks family.

Olivia Dixon has been a secretary within our Family Legal Aid department for a year. We are thrilled to offer her a training contract in the same department. Olivia shared,

“I am beyond excited to have been offered a training contract. It is an honour to be given the opportunity to continue working alongside such incredibly supportive and talented colleagues, who no doubt will provide me with priceless wisdom and guidance over the next two years.”

Amelia Atkinson has spent over a year as a Paralegal in the Family Legal Aid department. She has now been offered a training contract in our Crime department. Amelia stated,

“I can’t express how grateful I am to work at a firm that recognises my hard work and that wants to help me progress my legal career. I have worked at the firm as a Paralegal for just over a year now and have had the chance to experience things I never thought I would be doing. I can’t wait to start my training contract and see what the next 18 months have in store.”
