Eric Watson
As Crime Operations Officer, I am responsible for ensuring each client is represented by the defence team that best suits their individual case’s needs. No two matters are the same. The makeup of the defence team is one of the most important tactical decisions to be taken. The term ‘criminal defence lawyer’ is very broad and it is important that the lawyer’s specialisms match the challenges the prosecution will bring. By recruiting the most able lawyers, and with exposure to a wide variety of cases and regular, in depth training, my team is structured to bring expertise to virtually every area of criminal law. We work in a competitive, results driven environment in which there is often only one acceptable outcome.
I have spent my career as a criminal defence solicitor and I hold higher rights of audience to represent clients in the Crown Court. Furthermore, I have an interest in international crime and I am eligible to practice before the Kosovo Specialist Chambers which has jurisdiction over crimes against humanity, war crimes and other crimes under Kosovo law.
Whether you require advice about a case already before the Crown Court or you are being investigated by the police for serious matters, we can assist. Early advice can lead to an earlier resolution.
