William Morrison
In 2022, I completed a Graduate Diploma in Law with Northumbria University, where I stayed on through 2023 to complete the Legal Practice Course. After working as a paralegal in criminal and commercial law, in September 2024 I joined Watson Woodhouse’s Housing Disrepair Department as a Trainee Solicitor, starting my Training Contract with the firm with a view to qualifying as a solicitor in 2026.
I have always admired Watson Woodhouse’s commitment both to their clients and the community, and since I started my training contract those values have shone through in every aspect of the work the Disrepair team do. Everything, from immediate client care to the standard of work and attention to every claim that comes to the department, demonstrates how the firm really operates according to its values, and as a learning experience, it is as engaging as it is exciting.
