Shola Hughes
In 2024, I graduated from Northumbria University with a First Class Masters of Law and LPC. During my time at university, I worked at a firm in Hartlepool doing Conveyancing which allowed me to work with clients and I knew I wanted to be a Solicitor. In the final year of my degree, I undertook some work experience at Watson Woodhouse within the Crown Court Department where I shadowed solicitors in both the Magistrates Court and the Crown Court, as well as shadowed police station interviews.
I have now started my training contract with Watson Woodhouse within the Crown Court Department, and I am working towards my Police Station Accreditation and managing my own files. Thereafter, I hope to continue my professional development and undertake a Duty Solicitor Qualification.
