In 2019, I graduated from Northumbria University with a Bachelor’s degree in Law with International Business. I returned to complete a Master’s degree in Law alongside the Legal Practice Course in 2020.
Following completion of my degree, I joined Watson Woodhouse in August 2021 as a Housing Paralegal on behalf of the Civil Legal Advice Service. Since joining the firm, I have progressed from call handler to becoming supervisor of the case progression team which involves managing my own caseload by assisting clients with homelessness applications, disrepair issues, harassment issues and helping clients who are facing eviction to remain in their property.
Currently, I am still working within the Housing Department as a Housing Supervisor and a Trainee Solicitor, and I am due to qualify as a solicitor in May 2025.
Also, I am in the process of developing my advocacy skills as a Housing Court Duty advisor for Darlington County Court in which I assist individuals who are facing proceedings to lose their homes without representation.
