I joined Watson Woodhouse as a solicitor specialising in Housing Disrepair, where I have extensive experience and have built housing departments up from scratch.

Within this area, we find primarily vulnerable tenants in social housing who are struggling with their living conditions and disrepair within their property as a result of their landlords neglecting their statutory obligations. We aim to assist these clients in getting their property back into a state of repair and pursuing damages on their behalf.

Many of our clients find themselves living in sub-standard and often dangerous living conditions with structural issues at the properties. Successfully challenging social landlords and local councils in their failures brings me fulfilment as the impact we have on our clients is very tangible.

Previously, I have experience in personal injury ranging from employer liability and public liability to road traffic accidents. I have also been involved in commercial contract disputes and consumer rights cases. These areas of law taught me a great deal about civil litigation and navigating legal proceedings.
