A woman has died after being crushed by a van. West Midlands Ambulance Service crews attended the scene on Tuesday, when a spokesperson said “It is not clear exactly what happened but it appears the woman was crushed under a van she had been working on,” (BBC News, 2009).

While the air ambulance, emergency doctors and a rapid response team tried desperately to save the woman, but she was confirmed dead at the scene. Staffordshire police are investigating.
