Niamh O’Brien
- Criminal Defence
Since August 2020, I have worked in Watson Woodhouse’s Criminal Defence Department. During this time, I have gained experience in assisting people under investigation by the police. I have made regular contact with the police to ensure cases were being progressed as quickly as possible. Once my client has secured a positive outcome, I help my clients receive their seized property back from the police.
I am accredited to advise people who have been arrested and held in the police station. The advice provided in the Police Station is crucial and it sets the basis for what happens next, should that be in the Magistrates’ Court or the Crown Court. I am dedicated to helping my clients from when they have been arrested to the conclusion of their case.
I work alongside my colleagues to ensure that every enquiry is followed to its conclusion so all my clients can be sure that their cases have been fully investigated.
I am currently in the process of completing my Training Contract which I started in September 2023. Watson Woodhouse Solicitors have provided me with exceptional training and in this role, I have gained vital experience in providing my clients with a professional service whilst achieving the best possible result for them.
