Mirelojo Alva Amadi-Emina
In November 2020, I started working at Watson Woodhouse Solicitors during my gap year after college. I was originally an admin assistant in the conveyancing department before I joined the Solicitor Higher Apprenticeship Programme in September 2021.
Since then, I have had the opportunity to work in several different departments and offices of the firm including the Housing department and Crown Court. My experience so far in different areas of law has taught me many valuable skills, which I always put into practice when dealing with clients to provide the best assistance.
I am now working in the Private Prosecution department where we explore the possible routes of criminal action that can be taken against identified suspects of a crime in relation to fraud and other dishonesty offences. My role within this department allows me to assist clients who have been the victim of such offences by helping them through the process of prosecuting the people responsible.
