In 2020, I graduated from the University of Birmingham with an undergraduate degree in Law LLB. I followed this with a Master of Laws LLM at the University of Law in Leeds, graduating in 2021. After I graduated, I was kindly granted a Training Contract with a local firm in York, where I undertook my period of recognised training. This firm delt with only Criminal Law and Prison Law matters, and I was surrounded with both Magistrates Court and Crown Court work, dealing with a variety of cases from the beginning. Early in my training, I became a fully accredited Police Station Representative and represented a vast number of clients in this early stage of proceedings.
I qualified as a Solicitor in August 2024 and joined Watson Woodhouse as a newly qualified solicitor in February 2025. I am working towards obtaining my Duty Solicitor status which will enable me to assist an even greater number of people at Court. It is incredibly fulfilling to know that the work that I do, alongside the work of Watson Woodhouse as a whole, helps everyday people, no matter their crime, to achieve justice.
