  • About Me

In 2023, I graduated from Northumbria University with a 2:1 MLaw Exempting Degree along with my LPC. During my studies at university, I worked in a law firm in Newcastle dealing with vehicle damage claims.

Following the completion of my university degree, I was offered a secretarial position at Watson Woodhouse in the Family Legal Aid department. Following this, I was given the opportunity to work as a paralegal again in the Family Legal Aid department. During this role, I have represented clients in Public Law Outline meetings where the local authority would raise concerns they had and if these concerns were not alleviated, they would issue care proceedings to court. I also successfully represented clients of my own in court to obtain a Non-Molestation Order against family members. In addition to this, I have had the opportunity to work with barristers and KC’s on serious cases involving non-accidental injuries to children and offences involving that of a serious sexual nature. I have attended Findings of Fact where I have sat behind counsel and assisted when needed.

I have now been given the opportunity to start my Training Contract with Watson Woodhouse Solicitors in the crime department. I will be splitting my time between working in the Crown Court department and the Magistrates department. I am also working towards my police station representative accreditation.
