Dangerous dog bites young woman in Norwich
08Jul
A woman was bitten twice by a Rottweiler outside a bakery in her home town, it was heard at court in March 2011. The report states that the woman bent down to say ‘hello’ to a dog, which was tied up outside a bakery and it bit her twice. The woman was obviously very distressed and this incident has come at a time when the term ‘dangerous’ when applied to dogs is struggling to become properly defined. This article will hopefully clear up a few questions about what exactly constitutes a ‘dangerous dog’ and whether the owner is always to blame. In this incident, the owner of the dog was wrong to leave it unsupervised, making it likely it would commit serious dog bites.
